This crankcase is designed so that all "standard" original parts from Piaggio can be used in this crankcase. Think of the gears, pulleys, ignition but also the water pump and electric start. So the engine can be built as a standard 125-180. Of course, you can also use this engine block to mount bigbore cylinders or build heavily tuned setups with it. This block is stiffer and is better designed internally to pull more HP from a cylinder. You can choose from different options: 'type of gearing' and 'intake size'. The price includes all bearings, bolts and seals. Even the special 8.1 diaphragm and manifold are included.
You can recognize your type of gearing by the crankcase cover. Double bearing has a bearing in the crankcase cover. The intake size depends on what type of carb you are going to use. If you have b.v. a Polini PWK 28mm then you choose: 28/30mm. Do you want to go with a larger Keihin then you choose 35/39mm.
