The sump is only suitable for mounting in combination with an electric water pump. This reduces the resistance on the crankshaft of the original water pump. In addition to the elimination of the water pump, the oil pump is also eliminated.
This crankcase was realized with only one goal in mind: to produce the most innovative racing component for scooters that has ever existed. A revolution cannot be considered as such if it does not involve a radical change. That is the reason why Malossi decided to go beyond the C-One crankcase to create RC-One, an even more extreme version for lovers of powerful engines.
With the introduction of the RC-ONE crankcase and the new MHR Flanged Mount 94cc cylinders, it reaches engine outputs well above 30 hp.
The MALOSSI RC-ONE crankcase is designed to fit flanged mount cylinders only. The crankshaft chamber is sized to allow the mounting of long hose crankshafts without further modifications to the crankcase.
The result of the extreme choices in the development of the RC-ONE crankcase offers possibilities for the latest generation of racing parts where the results and power outputs are unprecedented.
